Preparation for the checkup and other relevant information:

Kindly take prior appointment – contact 0474- 2729393, 2726161
Overnight fasting required for 10-12 hours
Report in empty stomach – only water may be consumed
You can take your regular medicines with water barring diabetic drugs which can be consumed as usual after giving the fasting blood sample. Please bring your medications along
Avoid wearing tight , formal clothes and shoes
Can bring your sneakers along to walk on the treadmill
Avoid smoking and consuming alcohol for a minimum of 12 hours before check up
It is advised to avoid health check for women during menstruation
If already registered at the hospital, provide the I D number at the time of reporting in the Hospital
Bring stool and urine samples in a clean container (Container may be collected from TMCH – Kollam)
Bring all your earlier medical reports. prescription if available along with regular medicines.
Consultations with cardiologist, diabetologist and pediatrician will be based on the availability of appointment
Opinion and advice will be given by the consultant physician, based on the standard tests in the package. Any further tests or consultations recommended by the consultant, will not be a part of the package and hence will be extra charged. The availibilty of reports in such instances will depend on the nature of the tests.
